As a copywriter, you’ll work directly with the editorial and marketing departments to plan and write ads and long-form promotions for our educational and newsletter services.

Responsibilities:
- Development of general concepts of product promotions
- Various Ad copy
- Video sales letter scripts and/or sales presentation landing pages
- All associated upsells and cross sells to go along with the sales presentations
- Email lifts to lead prospects into sales presentations
- Multiple subject lines to go along with the email lifts for testing
- Various testing ideas (copy, design, etc) for optimization
- Development of various renewal and retention strategies
- Auto-responders and 24 hour new to file emails
- A loose expectation would be at least two new major product promotions per quarter, along with associated materials.
- Legal review and verification of all facts in the work above including a list of all sources of all factually material claims made and citations to any studies, editorial and other material sources.
Qualifications:
- Excellent writing, research and editing skills
- Great attention to detail
- A strong sense of curiosity
- Strong project and time management skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Prior editing and writing experience
- A solid portfolio of writing samples
- A strong interest in finance and marketing
- An understanding of author-editor relationships and the importance of voice and tone
- 3+ years of experience
