This position reports to the Senior Manager, Category Insights & Analytics, and will based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, or Skillman, New Jersey with a flexible hybrid work option.

What you will do

The Senior Customer Development Analyst is a meaningful role that allows us to improve our partnership with our retailers by providing category solutions and insights that drive profitable Omni category growth. In this role, a successful candidate will partner with a specific customer team in the development and execution of category reviews, merchandising plans, provide insights through the collection of relevant market trends and shopper research.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively uncover business opportunities with deep-dive analytics using various resources including, but not limited to: Retailer loyalty data, Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI), Marketplace and HH Panel Assessments to independently discern trends and provide insights-based recommendations to deliver sales objectives.
  • Integrate Omni-channel initiatives into analysis of business results
  • Uncover groundbreaking Omni Category insights and solutions for our customers / shoppers / consumers that deliver on critical metrics for instore and online.
  • Lead category presentations at assigned customers.
  • Develop assortment optimization recommendations for online and in-store by providing shopper, category, brand and/or customer insights.
  • Collaborate with Customer Development Managers to evolve promotional plans, evaluate the impact of pricing and track competitive marketplace activity to unlock internal and external growth opportunities.
  • Support efforts to continue to build that Indispensable Partner mind set with our customers.
  • Work with internal partners to provide voice of customer to craft our go to market initiatives and to provide an understanding of the external marketplace.
  • Find opportunities to deliver on strategic seasonal priorities for the assigned business.
  • Develop and share best-in-class thinking to improve functional efficiency of findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure that data is organized, reported and accurate when devising data sets through careful review and refinement prior to running analytical tests.

Qualifications


What we are looking for

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of prior experience in customer sales, category insights/management, analytics, shopper marketing/insights, or related field in a consumer products environment
  • Prior experience with handling databases or data sets; Preferred experience with syndicated data, such as Nielsen or IRI
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required
  • Ability to assess, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from sales and customer data is required
  • Ability to craft impactful presentations to explain recommendations and findings of analyses, resources, and studies are required

Other:

  • Role will require up to 20% domestic travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $73,000 to $117,300.
