About the role

Kubernetes is an open-source platform for managing IT systems and services. In Enterprise Payments Commercial we leverage K8S to provide processing power to Jenkins. Jenkins itself is the main orchestrator of CI/CD pipelines for 100+ software projects and is used by 1500+ people.

You will work in a DevOps team focusing on automation. As a Kubernetes administrator you will be involved designing and developing solutions to add functionality, increase security and improve stability and scalability. You will propose solutions and best practices for requirements and problems of our users.

These solutions must result in low maintenance and high level of automation. You will participate in the software maintenance of K8S and collaborate with IT department with respect to the nodes in the K8S clusters.

What you will be doing

• Designing and implementing solutions to leverage K8S for CI/CD as well as for our own services.
• Configuration of hardware of the clusters.
• Researching opportunities of automation in context of CI/CD as well as enforcing governance.
• Work with IT and users to maintain and improve the service offering,
• Document solutions and best practices.

What you bring

• 3 years of Kubernetes experience.
• Knowledge of K8S Operators.
• Linux administration.
• Knowledge of commercial cloud providers.
• DevOps environment experience.
• Programming language experience.
• Practical experience in using Gitops, Ansible, GO programming.
• Experience with creating and maintaining the monitoring and logging systems like ELK Stack, Grafana, Open Telemetry
