We are looking for a Senior Content Editor to work across our Gambling.com Group websites with a focus on editing and publishing high quality content and data across Sports, Casino, and Gambling industry news and strategy online publications.

You should be comfortable working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of editorial care and attention to detail. You will strive to research and develop SEO-driven content, produce linkable assets, supporting the GDC Group's general link acquisition strategies.

This role sits within our Sports vertical but works cross-functionally with other areas of the business to create the perfect user experience and remain aligned with core company goals.

Responsibilities

• Assigning and managing responsibilities to the overall Bookies.com editorial team (US and International).
• Leading stand ups with the commercial and traditional content team.
• Assigning out and editing evergreen and commercial content.
• Source freelancers as required to meet the fluctuations in scheduling demands.
• Assisting with daily content planning and delegation for the full-time Bookies.com content team.
• Manage and oversee freelancers content planning and delegation.
• Approve freelancers' invoices and hours monthly.
• Review weekly analytics to help guide strategic decisions on what content and articles are working.
• Collaborate with SEO team to ensure we are constantly touching and updating pages to stay relevant and ranking in top positions.
• Collaborate with the Digital PR team to help ideate and execute campaigns that we pitch to media outlets.
• Training new editors on Bookies.com CMS on an as needed basis.
• Continuing to learn top trends and strategies in the general media and entertainment content world.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledgeable of editing techniques and best practices.
• Experience in creating content and editorial products.
• Knowledgeable of conversion-oriented copywriting tactics.
• Experience with common SEO and digital marketing tools e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
• High experience working with CMS platforms.
• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
