Job Summary:

This contributor will support achievement of the Company’s goals by performing the Company’s budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis processes and be involved in a variety of project work. This role will provide financial insights and strategic support to business leaders by preparing performance reports, creating financial presentations, analyzing revenue and expenses, leveraging disparate data sources with BI tools, and other projects. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support business decision making. This position reports to the Director, FP&A

Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions)

• Financial liaison and consultative partner to leadership for The Bar Method and Basecamp Fitness, provides analytical insight and makes recommendations that will improve performance and achieve objectives
• Identify, analyze, and report key performance indicators that drive financial performance at the studio-level and the franchisor
• Build complex financial models to aid in strategic decision-making
• Prepare and maintain budgets and forecasts for operations and capital expenditures
• Design and monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of variances
• Provide financial support for Self Esteem Brand’s shared services
• Enhance Business Intelligence at Self Esteem Brands, by partnering with Data Team to design data models and reports and working with other teams to improve data quality and availability
• Effectively communicate results, projections, and variances outside of the finance department
• Support leadership with in-depth analysis

Strengths & Background:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Advanced analytical, mathematical, and spreadsheet modeling skills
• Experience with business intelligence applications (Microsoft BI preferred)
• Ability to think creatively, deadline-driven and self-motivated contributor
• Experience in multi-unit consumer industries preferred
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision and highly organized
• Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally to audience of various levels of financial aptitude
• Ability to organize and prioritize work with a high degree of autonomy, and track/coordinate a variety of tasks simultaneously
