Job Description:

We are looking to add a Senior Hardware Technician to join our team in Horsham, PA.

Reporting to our Senior Manager of Hardware Engineering for our Access Technology Group, this position is responsible for following schematics, redlines, and assembly drawings to assist in troubleshooting and debug of analog and digital circuits.

The Access Technology RF Design Engineering group owns the design and development of Hybrid-Fiber-Coax (HFC) and Fiber Optic products for the support of CATV and Data services. The group consists of hardware engineers and technicians developing RF and optical signal distribution products.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• 10+ years of experience working with equipment including but not limited: to spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, optical analyzers, power meters, bench power supplies, multimeters, etc.
• 5+ years of experience in soldering and reworking printed circuit boards

• 5+ years of experience with testing and reporting results using Microsoft Excel and Word

• Proficient in soldering and reworking printed circuit boards.
• Proven experience with testing and reporting results using Microsoft Excel and Word.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

• Familiarity with RF and/or optical circuit designs.
• Knowledge of broadband RF or products relating to CATV architectures
• Familiarity with metal fabrication equipment and its operation including vertical end mill, drill press, engine lathe, comparator, etc.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
