BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Human Resources leader to fill the role of Director, HR Business Partner/Strategic Talent Partner. In this role, the individual will be responsible for partnering with business operations leaders to develop, execute and manage people and culture strategies in a way that supports the strategic objectives and aligns with the business unit, practice, and overall organization. The Strategic Talent Partner will be responsible for gathering resources, collaborating, and communicating with enterprise support to assist operational leadership in recruiting, retaining, supporting, developing and managing talent. The individual is responsible to align the business operations with BAYADA's People and Culture programs, both strategically and "hands-on", to achieve practice goals. The individual is responsible to align resources through engagement of the broader organization and enable strategic execution, including leveraging the functional expertise of the Centers of Expertise (COE's) strategies. Prior HR Business Partner or comparable experience required in the areas of talent development, talent planning, succession planning, and employee relations.
This position will support offices in multiple states with a heavy concentration in NC & PA. This position can be based remotely, but will require the ability to travel as needed; 25%-30% travel is anticipated. It is strongly preferred that the candidate live in the territory listed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way.
- Develop working knowledge of BAYADA's mission, services, people, organization, policies and procedures.
- Partner with Regional Directors, Division Directors and Directors within the business unit to define and execute culture and people strategies that align with and support the goals of the business unit, practice and the organization.
- Develop, execute and support the operational leadership in recruitment, selection, retention, management development, performance management, succession planning, compensation, and employee relations.
- Act as advisor and coach to operational leadership on all matters related to people and culture.
- Assume responsibility for business unit talent functions including performance reviews, workforce planning, talent roundtables, succession plans, and PI and development plans.
- Advise leaders on coaching contracts, and coaching services. Track and monitor outcomes for coaching within the division.
- Assist operational leaders in assessing, and understanding skills gaps within the offices or divisions.
- Seek out, build and maintain trusting and collaborating relationships and alliances inside and outside the organization.
- Function as part of the larger people team by collaborating and leveraging enterprise people group resources.
- Along with operational leaders, assume responsibility for employee satisfaction & engagement efforts, results, plans and recognition within the division.
- Assist the Regional Directors, Division Directors and Directors in creating a people vision for their groups.
- Interview office staff and Directors when appropriate.
- Assume responsibility for team performance diagnosis and recommendations in alignment with the enterprise and practice strategies and best practices.
- Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions/attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff.
- Perform related duties, or as required or requested by supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence and reliability.
- Four (4) year college degree in an HR related field required.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in people management, talent development and leadership.
- Prior experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent role strongly preferred.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certifications a plus.
- Track record of sustained success in a service environment with an employee intensive, geographically decentralized business.
- Track record of successfully developing employees/teams at various levels.
- Experience implementing talent management best practices.
- Demonstrate key leadership competencies as defined by the Practice and the organization.
- Must have strong intellect, business acumen, collaborative style and relationship building skills.
- Work with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Competence in basic PC skills required to perform job functions.
- Acceptable results on pre-employment assessments.
- Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
