Senior Manager, Creative Project Management (Design)

What you’ll do:

  • Lead annual and quarterly forecasting for upcoming project priorities for the Designstudio; maintain alignment on changing scope and ensuring accurate timelines and on-time project kick offs

  • Maintain oversight of all active project status withinthe design studio. Feed into a weekly leadership status report and be the primary POC for all Design Brand Pod project updates and questions

  • Spearhead the build and maintenance of a project intake and workprocesses in Jira and contribute to the onboarding ofany new tools, systems and processes related to the Design team

  • Steward day-to-day project management of our largest and most complex designinitiatives, serving as a daily point of leadership for cross-functional partners

  • Drive resource management for design studio, ensuring workload is balanced appropriately

  • Proactively schedule all meetings related to your projects including kickoffs, creative reviews, approvals, and stakeholder alignment meetings, ensuring the right attendees are present, meetings start and finish on time and recapping and distributing detailed notes

  • Drive project timelines and ensure all key milestones and due dates are communicated frequently to the full team and any stakeholders

  • Anticipate and mange potential blockers across concept development, production, and delivery phases; flag to appropriate partners and proactively find solutions

  • Partner with creative directors to drive creative approvals

  • Drive legal reviews and manage localization of creative to ensure alts and geo specific nuances are captured in the final produced assets

  • Responsible for delivering finalassets across channels and archiving assets upon completion of project

  • Utilize team feedback, retrospectives, and metrics to identify areas of opportunity and work with your team to continuously improve

  • Manage and coach a team of design project managers, provide mentorship and feedback to help them grow, maintain oversight of team workload balance

  • Work across UK and UStimezones. The hours are skewed to early US West-Coast mornings or later UK evenings to maximize cross-over time

Who you are:

  • A project management professional with 10-12+years experience in creative/design project management within anagency or brand side creative organization

  • An expert in managing design projects across all channels (websites, email, CRM, OOH, print, etc.)

  • A leader with 3-5+ yearsof experience in managing a design studio and direct reports

  • Familiar with managing a large cross-functional team of stakeholders and driving alignment across all aspects of a creative project

  • Skilled in Jira from an intake and project management perspectiveand also familiar with other project management tools/software (Asana, Smartsheet, etc.)

  • An effective and concise communicator

  • Ability to operate in ambiguity; driving the team to find clarity, definite action items next steps to reach a solution

  • Resilient and constructive when faced with change; able to shift approaches when needed in response to unexpected events and circumstances

  • Thrive in maintaining organization, finding efficiencies and building, improving and simplifying processes

  • Well versed in global campaign and localization processes

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $146,000.00 to $204,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $233,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
