Senior Network Voice Engineer
Whippany, NJ
As a Barclays Senior Network Voice Engineer, the role will require the regular reviews and certifications of Enterprise Voice products to define their usability and suitability for Barclays.
Products will be assessed to ensure they meet our internal security, design, and governance standards. This role consists of working within the Network and Voice Engineering team as an Enterprise Voice Engineer/SME, providing in-depth technical knowledge across the Enterprise Voice domain.

What will you be doing?
- Performing engineering testing, validation, and reviews of Enterprise Voice platforms
- Ensuring our Voice Transport products comply to our internal security and technological controls
- Maintaining our products engineering lifecycle with our vendors and in line with the industry
- Providing expert guidance on architectural designs and solutions to our stakeholders
- Being a Subject Matter Expert in one or more Voice technologies and working knowledge across all other Voice technologies utilized by Barclays
What we’re looking for?
- Experience in testing and assessing voice solutions in a regulated industry or large organization
- Ability to effectively communicate and explain complex solutions
- Experience in participating in international teams
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly when required
- Ability to prioritise workloads in a complex environment
- Excellent knowledge of IP Voice Protocols such as SIP, SCCP, H.323, MGCP
- Organisational awareness and knowledge of how service stability can be maximised through leveraging technology and process
