Job description
The international payroll manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing for several international countries. This includes responsibility for all payroll tax, associate garnishment, and payroll accounting activities, including compliance with local, and federal regulations and filing local, state, and federal payroll tax returns, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining a robust control framework.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of international payroll operations, including timely and accurate payroll processing, tax compliance, and vendor management
Set up payroll processes in new countries as we expand operations internationally
Influence the vision and strategy for our international payroll function
Partner with HR functional areas to influence HR policies and procedures to best meet the needs of our associates
Ability to create payroll create and communicate requirements for payroll configuration, integrations, and reporting
Manage the operational infrastructure to drive efficiencies and associate experiences
Ensure key operational and customer performance and service level targets are met
Contribute to the proper infrastructure and management controls - including metrics, quality assurance, and capacity planning; drive innovation in process of excellence; a beacon for operations talent
Model and ensure Operations Leaders are exemplifying the enterprise leadership expectations with ability to inspire and empower our associates to do their best work while creating an inclusive environment for all associates.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in each country
Identify and prepare tax registrations
Respond to questions and special requests from employees and regulatory agencies
Research laws and regulations regarding taxes and payroll withholding procedures
Prepare special reports for management
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 2 years international payroll management experience or 2 years of compensation experience
At least 2 years people leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
Fluent in Spanish
Bachelor’s degree
Payroll implementation experience
Latin American Payroll Experience
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
Master’s in taxation or accounting
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
2 Years vendor management
5 Years payroll management
Global mobility taxation experience
Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions
