We’re hiring a Senior Director, B2B Media Solutions to join our consultative ad sales business to manage a new sales team and sell integrated advertising & sponsorship programs across Insider Intelligence’s media properties.
As Senior Director, B2B Media Solutions, of Insider Intelligence you’ll manage a team of junior sellers, as well as a book of your individual accounts. You will sell and manage advertising for two respected and relied upon media brands; Insider Intelligence and eMarketer with a heavy focus on new accounts and new coverage areas. The ideal candidate is experienced in sales, building a junior sales team, and understands B2B marketers’ business needs and acts in a consultative manner to match Insider Intelligence's advertising and sponsorship opportunities to their objectives.

  • A persuasive and confident communicator who understands how to effectively tailor messaging and articulate value, be it in person, on the phone, or over email.
  • An eager and tactful negotiator who always recognizes opportunity and quickly triages competing priorities.
  • A trustworthy seller and manager. You develop trust with your clients and team and follow through promises.
  • A decisive problem solver who understands both client and team needs, thrives in a fast-paced environment and always figures out a way to make it work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow new advertiser cohorts with a keen focus on payments and fintech companies; as well as new advertisers in the adtech/martech space
  • Manage a growing team of 2-3 junior sellers
  • Leverage industry Insider Intelligence resources to identify advertiser prospects and maintain client relationships.
  • Take a consultative approach to leading sales of advertising and sponsorship programs across Insider Intelligence media properties to achieve optimal success.
  • Work closely with operations, product and marketing teams to fulfill client contracts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve or exceed target revenue goals.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Versed in B2B ad sales with experience selling advertising in the B2B space with an emphasis on consultative selling.
  • Experience motivating and managing sellers.
  • Proven track record selling to payments and fintech companies.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $150-165k (dependent on skills & experience)
