Techneaux Technology Services, LLC is looking full an open Senior SCADA Engineer position. We are looking for a professional with a strong technical background who will enjoy solving challenging problems, constantly increasing their skill set, and interfacing with clients in a team-centric environment.
Job Description:
· System Architect for SCADA services. Evaluates business requirements to develop and implement solutions. Conducts project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons.
· Responsible for infrastructure recommendations related to SCADA including related hardware and software to ensure availability, recoverability, performance, integrity and supportability through production support and maintenance of existing SCADA.
· Provides advanced customer support for new and existing SCADA systems.
· Plans and executes designs, configurations, or enhancements to new and existing SCADA services.
· Researches, recommends, and designs new technologies, new configurations, and enhancements to existing SCADA, provides consulting advice to customers on the capabilities of the environment.

What We Do:
Techneaux's Enterprise Services unit provides consultancy and staff augmentation services centered around SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems primarily for the oil & gas industry. We are vendor-agnostic and routinely help clients with many different brands of SCADA systems, as well as other third-party systems that need to be integrated with SCADA systems. We offer a wide range of services ranging from entry-level data manipulation, developing custom interfaces between various systems, multi-tiered system support, designing/architecting completely new systems, to developing custom utilities to automate repetitive tasks.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor of Science, or equivalent experience in a technical capacity. Including, but not limited to any Engineering field, Computer Science (Information Technology or Scientific Computing concentrations work), Mathematics, Business Informatics (BSAT/MIS), Database Administration.
- 5 years related SCADA experience.
- 3 years of experience related to planning, analysis, configuration, installation, management, and coordination work.
- Ability to analyze complex systems, solve problems, and multi-task.
- Must enjoy technology. Our culture depends on this.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and technological leading-edge developments.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Nerf dart-throwing skills (distance and/or accuracy) would help.
- Ability to travel, if required.
