About the Role

You'll deliver projects while deepening our client relationships with client(s) in the CPG, Tech, Health Sciences or Automotive categories. You'll shape thoughtful responses to complex challenges, mentor junior strategists, and to create work against projects in brand, content, and digital scopes.

At Superunion New York, we've got an awesome team and are looking for someone who'll support our pursuit of the phenomenal, in everything from brand strategy to business outcomes and consumer experiences.

As a Senior Strategist at Superunion, you will:

  • Use your creative problem-solving skills to create and shape content for client deliverables
  • Help clients and teams uncover and address core brand and brand marketing challenges
  • Develop strategic solutions to serve client needs, integrating research, experience, industry knowledge, and client knowledge; feel comfortable framing branding solutions regarding revenue
  • Combine insights from a broad range of inputs to create persuasive, POV-inspired narratives that guide client decision-making
  • Manage large client work streams, serving as the strategic daily lead within larger client engagements and leading our teams through projects
  • Be a trusted strategic advisor to clients, building relationships that demonstrate an understanding of their needs and how to solve them
  • Mentor junior team members and provide simultaneous oversight on content creation for all assigned projects, while developing their thinking, in partnership with senior team members
  • Plan and lead research programs and input gathering exercises, including client interviews and workshops, and summarize findings
  • Present to clients across a spectrum of sophistication
  • Contribute to project plans and scopes of work to ensure client success
  • Write proposals and work plans for new business opportunities

About you

  • You have 4+ years of experience in brand strategy or related field
  • You're fluent in all core brand strategy and verbal identity subjects (e.g. Insights, Positioning, Brand Architecture, Messaging, Tone of Voice, Naming)
  • You hold expertise with relevant experience in content strategy, copy or campaign creation, and UX strategy
  • You've had exposure to multiple industries with in-depth knowledge of 1–2 industries
  • You have experience facilitating and leading client workshops and exercises
