Job description
Purpose
To perform mobile and walking FI surveys of all mains & services in Berkshire Gas Distribution Systems. The outside surverys will take place from approximately April to December and perform miscellanious surveys and surveys related duties during the winter months.
Responsibilities
1. Perform surveys and document daily on lap top and download weekly the information into database.
2. Document daily on main surveys on company provided area maps and electronic data terminal.
3. Report all class I leaks to dispatch immediately.
4.. Document and communicate all daily Class II & Class III leaks on company provided leak reports.
5. Miscellanious surveys work throughout the year:
A. Pre-Construction Street- Leak Surveys
B. Pre-construction Street- Valve Box Surveys
C. Pre & Post Blasting Surveys
D. Cast Iron Encroachment Surveys
E. Systems upgrade surveys
F. Repsond to daily leak call-ins (Ordor Compliants)
G. Perform building and business district surveys and provide data on a daily basis.
Skills and Requirements
Education requirements:
1. High Scholl diploma or GED.
Sills and other requirements:
1. Must have valid Drivers License
2. Ability to operate company vehicle
3. Basic computer skils (MicroSoft Excel, PowerPoint, word, Outlook, Teams)
4. Safe working Practices/ OSHA Compliance
5. Must pass physical fitness test
