Description: In the event your combined wages ($9.24 hourly rate and your earned tips) don’t add up to $15.75, Home Run Inn will still guarantee you are paid $15.75 per hour.

Job Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Position Summary: Sell food and beverage service to guests in a friendly and timely manner.
Work from verbal and written orders:
1. Take and serve food and drink orders to guests.
2. Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.
3. Actively sell and suggests complimentary menu items to guests. Promotes upcoming and special events to guests.
4. Respond to guest requests for assistance or information and discuss satisfaction with dining experience.
5. Practice responsible alcohol service. Monitor alcohol consumption and age requirements.
6. Relay orders to kitchen and serve courses from kitchen and service bars.
7. Garnish and decorate dishes prior to serving.
8. Toss salads, portion pies and desserts, brews coffee, and performs other services as determined by establishment’s size and practices.
9. Maintain availability of condiments and provide to guests as appropriate.
10. Polish silverware and fold napkins.
11. Prepare itemized customer receipt and accept payment.
12. Clears and resets counter or tables at conclusion of each course.
13. Assists Busperson in pre-bussing functions and the set-up/takedown of buffet table.
Use POS System, calculator, and common cleaning supplies.
Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:

• Food Handler certification
• Safety shoes
• Constantly be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Frequently be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stack weight up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• If 18-20 years of age, can sell and serve alcohol, but not pour
