Vermeer North Atlantic Sales and Service - the exclusive heavy equipment dealer/distributor for the Hudson Valley New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania region - is looking to hire an experienced, Service Advisor to add to its already accomplished team.
YOU ARE THE PERFECT CANDIDATE IF YOU -
· Provide excellent customer service from intake, to release and beyond.
· Enjoy working in a team environment.
· Possess an understanding of equipment mechanics and have the ability to suggest
appropriate repairs.
· Can prescribe the best repair plan for customers based on their needs.
· Are comfortable making service suggestions and quoting prices.
· Can answer questions about services performed and price information.
· Have experience scheduling appointments over the phone.
· Are comfortable calling on customers to maintain relationships and expand service opportunities.
· Stay on top of service bulletins and equipment updates.
· Possess a working knowledge of safety precautions common to equipment and proper documentation.
· Are professional, organized, and able to maintain customer records.
· Have a basic understanding of math and accounting.
· Have advanced computer and data-entry skills.
· Can understand company schedules and manage time efficiently.
· Have a valid driver’s license. CDL is a plus.
· Can stand, walk, sit and lift up to 25 pounds.

Schedule:
· 8-hour shift.
· Monday – Friday.
· Bi-weekly pay.
Experience:
· Heavy Equipment Service: 2 years (Preferred).
· Electrical and Hydraulic Troubleshooting: 2 years (Preferred).
License/Certification:
· Driver's License (Required).
· CDL License (A Plus).
