Digital Room is seeking experienced Sewing Machine Operators for all shifts.

Shifts:

• Day Shift, 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday
• Swing Shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday-Friday
• Night Shift, 11:00 PM- 7:30 AM, Sunday-Thursday

Job Description:

• Produce finished graphics
• Activate sewing machine to join, gather, hem, reinforce, or finish materials/fabricated articles
• Examine and measure finished articles to verify conformance to standards
• Cut materials, according to specifications, or cut excess material or thread from finished product, using blade, scissors, or electric knife
• Fold or fit together materials, such as fabric or vinyl to prepare for machine sewing
• Mount attachments, such as needles, cutting blades, or pattern plates, and adjust machine guides according to specifications
• Monitor machine operation to detect problems, such as defective stitching, breaks in thread, or machine malfunction
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise
• Other fabrication duties as assigned

• Industrial sewing experience
• Mechanical and artistic aptitude
• Attention to details
• Cutting skills
• Ability to multi-task

Working Conditions:

This position works in an air-conditioned warehouse/manufacturing environment. A break area is available with refrigerator access, microwaves, coffee makers, and free snacks/fountain drink machine!

Physical Requirements:

The Production Technician position will have the following physical requirements:

• Standing/Walking (at least 25% of shift)

• Lifting/Pushing/Pulling up to 50 lb. (at least 25% of shift)

• Bending/Twisting/Squatting (at least 25% of shift)
