Essential Functions
Job duties include, although are not limited to:
Clean, shampoos and maintains all carpets, floors, and furniture in guestrooms and public space.
Any other projects assigned by a manager.
Internal Relationships
Reports to Housekeeping Manager
External Relationships
Has regular contact with guests and Housekeeping Manager
Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent preferred- Two years of previous shampooing experience preferred.
Education/Experience Requirements
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and
demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable
accommodation.
- Knowledge of stain removal and chemical cleaning agents.
- Ability to operate heavy duty industrial shampooing equipment.
- Ability to learn and apply hazardous chemical standards.
- Ability to understand the English language in order to read safety labels, product instructions and work
order assignments.
