Power Equipment Company (www.powereq.com) is seeking an experienced SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERK to join our business family. This full-time position offers a great growth opportunity for the right candidate working out of our Memphis, TN office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize, Ship & Receive parts on a daily basis.

• Schedule Truck load & Courier shipments

• Have requested parts available for service jobs when scheduled.

• Systematically place / keep up with inventory.

• Perform audits of parts.

• Drive and load large equipment with forklift.
• Utilize computer freight shipments to track and ship parts.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent. One year related experience and/or training desired.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before individual customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Must be proficient in use of PC as a word processor and able to use MS Outlook, Word, and Excel software. Must have good telecommunication and human relation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,098.00 - $50,000.00 per year
