Funding Information
This is a specially funded assignment with a projected end date of June 30, 2025 with renewal based on available funds and the needs of MCCCD.
If you are hired into a short-term benefits eligible position, once your assignment ends, you are ineligible for rehire into a part-time non-benefits eligible position (including Adjunct positions) or to continue working in a part-time non-benefits eligible position for a period of six months at the Maricopa Community Colleges.

Job Summary
The Bachelor Early Childhood Education - Dual Language Degree Program is a new pathway that will be offered beginning in Fall 2023.
Student Teaching is the capstone practicum experience for the Bachelor Early Childhood Education - Dual Language Degree Program. The Student Teaching Analyst will work directly with schools to establish partnerships with classroom/school sites where the student teacher experience can be completed by the students. Additionally, advice and guidance related to placement and preparation for the practicum experience will also be provided by the Student Teaching Analyst.
Essential Functions
30% Establish partnership with specific schools for students to participate in student teaching (practicum) experience.
25% Advises and guides students regarding placement and schedule for student teaching (practicum experience) using established guidelines based on degree pathway plan.
15% May participate in presentations to and work with students and partner school sites online (virtually), over the phone, and in person.
10% Maintains knowledge of current MCCCD policies and procedures and Arizona Department of Education practicum experience requirements.
10% Serve as liaison between practicum placement site and MCC Education Studies Department, Early Childhood Program.
10% May perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) full-time equivalent years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs.
OR
Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and four (4) full-time equivalent years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs.
OR
High School Diploma or GED and six (6) full-time equivalent years of progressively responsible student services experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs.
Desired Qualifications
A. Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field of Education.
B. Three (3) or more years of PreK-3rd grade related work experience.
C. Two (2) or more years of experience providing academic or career advising in a college or university setting
D. Experience using technology to support academic advising/career advising/student success/student learning (ie. LMS, student database, case management technology, student facing learning tools, etc.)
E. Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures
F. Experience developing and delivering presentations
Special Working Conditions
May be required to work evenings and weekends.
