Job description

ProCare Therapy is seeking a special education teacher in Kansas for a remote position. This specific position will be working with students on the spectrum who are in pre-K to 2nd grade. The position is part time for next school year. Please see additional details below!

Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
    effectively and proactively prepare to deliver instruction virtually to students on the spectrum
    Provide virtual instruction and support to students in early elementary
    Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support for students
    Maintain accurate records and progress reports

Requirements:

    Active licensure as a special education teacher in Kansas
    Department of Education credentials
    Liability insurance
    At least 2 years of experience working with students with special needs in a school setting
    previous virtual experience with early elementary students
    Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and technology
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
