General Responsibilities:
The Specialist I will assist the Director of Business Management with processing and tracking Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and Accounts Payable invoices. The Specialist I will use Excel on a daily basis to create Requests for Proposals (RPFs) and will receive and log packages that are received at our NY Warehouse.

The Specialist I will assist the Director of Business Management with processing and tracking Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and Accounts Payable invoices. The Specialist I will use Excel on a daily basis to create Requests for Proposals (RPFs) and will receive and log packages that are received at our NY Warehouse.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Create and process Purchase Requisitions in Oracle
- Create Requests for Proposals using Excel
- Receive and record parts from the mailroom using Oracle
- Assist with Purchase Order management and tracking using Oracle and Excel
- Code and submit invoices for approval in Basware
- Maintain accurate and complete records and information relating to equipment
- Provide support to team members and management, as needed
- Complete other duties, as required, at the discretion of management
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- High School Diploma Required; Associate degree in Business Management or Accounting preferred
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with formulas, conditional formatting, VLOOKUP's and pivot tables are strongly preferred
- Prior experience using Basware, Oracle or similar platform preferred
- Proficient in basic computer knowledge and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to maintain precise and detailed records
