Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading and managing sourcing initiatives in alignment with category strategies and business initiatives
- Perform standard RFx process and negotiates contracts and purchases for standard goods and services
- Drive value through executing sourcing initiatives according to and aligned with category strategies and business priorities as assigned by the Sr Manager
- Facilitate the sourcing process according to the standard HA sourcing processes, including: development of RFx packages, supplier evaluation, contract negotiations and authoring
- Facilitate stakeholder and supplier communications throughout the sourcing process
- Analyze supplier proposals and facilitate source selection
- Identify opportunities for improved spend or transaction management
- Process requisitions at defined approval thresholds
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of Procurement, Contract Administration, or Vendor Contract Management
- Developing professional expertise, applies company procedures and best practice to execute sourcing, develop supplier contracts, and drive contract negotiations. Developing business acumen to effectively influence sourcing decisions. Working knowledge or understanding of Procurement processes
- Able to run RFx events independently negotiate standard commercial contract terms
- Performs bid analysis with some guidance or leveraging response templates and makes sound recommendations for source selection
- Uses common contract negotiation tactics and levers
- Delivers on multiple projects/goals, manages deadlines with support/guidance.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other database and analysis tools
- Exhibits high ethical standards
- Trustworthy of maintaining confidentiality
