Job description:
- A front-line leadership position responsible for the day to day oversight of specimen management operations and associates on assigned shift.
- Responsible for collection and processing of blood samples and other specimens as defined by site.
- Provides a high level of customer service for lab inquiries, test requirements, and other laboratory information.
- Consistently functions in a self-directed manner and exhibits excellent communication and complex problem-solving skills.
- Serves as a liaison with other laboratory departments and hospital services.
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
One year of phlebotomy work experience required- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Phlebotomy certification, such as PBT(ASCP) or equivalent certification required within 6 months of hire
Physical Requirements:
Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently)
