Now picture yourself in this role - The Speech and Language Assistant assists the Speech Language Pathologist in the provision of speech/language/cognitive and dysphagia services to Spencer Street clients. We can’t get around this – to qualify you must have: • Associate’s Degree from an accredited SLA Program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (a minimum of 1000 hours of supervised clinical experience and demonstration of competency in the skills required of a SLA).
- Excellent oral communication skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively relay information along with excellent active listening skills and social perceptiveness. • Knowledge of behavioral strategies, intervention approaches, and functional assessments. • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals We want you to join our team!
