Hartford Healthcare Rehabilitation Network (HHCRN) will be providing comprehensive rehab services at Duncaster Retirement Community in Bloomfield. Duncaster is a continuing care community and our staff will support Short Term Rehab, Assisted Living and Memory Care/Long Term Care services to residents and patients in an outpatient clinic.
The Speech Language Pathologist independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies and provides direct or indirect services that identify, restore and rehabilitate disorders of communication, cognition and swallowing to maximize a patient's safety and independence.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college/university.
- State of Connecticut License in Speech/Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence or Approved Clinical Fellowship plan from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association-may be required depending on site.
