Sr Data Scientist, Circle K Stores Inc., Tempe, AZ 85284:

Complete large-scale data science projects from end to end. Utilize data mining and statistical techniques to derive business value. Clearly and concisely explain complex analytical findings to non-analytical peers and business leaders. Use R, Python, or other analytical programming language to build data models. Define data to be collected for measuring the success of business strategies, define KPIs, and work with engineering and across functional teams on tracking and instrumentation of data. Be involved in the optimization problems on large data sets that will be leveraged by operations research, business owners, and other stakeholders.

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days/ 40% a week.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related field and 3 years of work experience in the field of advanced analytics, data mining, statistics.

Must have 3 years of experience in the following:

• Data Mining, Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling
• SQL, Python, or R
• Building and deploying data/ analytics models
• Writing machine learning algorithms
• Using statistics to make inferences
• Presenting and explaining complex analytical findings to non analytical peers and business leaders

Python Data Structures certification required.
