Job summary
As the Solutions Lead Manager for Life Sciences Clinical Trials (CT) and Clinical Trial Data, you’ll be responsible for leading a team that will set the strategy and be accountable for building the solutions, partnerships, and products that will meet unmet need and advance new business models that will delight customers and drive pipeline and revenue for Amazon Web Services (AWS) sales teams in the area of Life Sciences/Clinical Trials.
This role will be managing teams to build the strategy and execute solutions at Worldwide & Geographic scale via deep understanding of both our customers and how to get products/solutions built within large organizations. You will be working in cross-functional teams spanning multiple geographies and regions. You will analyze data, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies to drive AWS Solutions pipeline and revenue growth.
Includes up to 25% travel.

Key job responsibilities
- Partner with sales and services leaders to identify priorities, set goals, and develop strategies to achieve pipeline and revenue goals
- Lead AWS Solutions strategy across business development and solutions teams as well as partners
- Monitor the health of the AWS Solution business for clinical trials, analyzing the market for gaps and opportunities
- Support sales play development, ensuring the field has the resources they need to be successful
- Facilitate business reviews with field leaders to ensure the team is on track to achieve Solution goals
- Lead and inspire a highly functioning team that develops a track record of trust and success.
• BA, BS or advanced degree • Passion for clinical trials – and deep understanding of how Life Sciences companies operate, IT and Line of Business personas, and builder versus buyer mindset • Exceptional analytic, interpersonal, and written communication skills • Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives • Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Amazon QuickSight) • Understanding of public and hybrid cloud platforms; working knowledge of AWS services and their relevance to enterprise and industry use cases • Understanding of the ecosystem, including relevant Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and other types of partners As this role can be located remotely throughout the US: The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $193,700-$262,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
