Sr. Software Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Job Description:

Supporting Production systems for multiple applications. Basic Java (Not looking for a developer) who can understand the code or analyze the code, Support organization who is willing to work odd hours when needed/if needed, and experience with Monitoring tools like Azure, DynaTrace, Splunk, and SiteScope

• Monitor production environment to maintain consistency and provide reliable server and application availability.
• Flexible to work for extended hours and on weekends as needed to handle high priority issues.
• Interface with L1 and L2 support groups, providing assistance and guidance as required.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Software Development experience
• 3+ years experience developing with Java / J2EE
• 2+ years experience with Oracle
• 1+ years experience with one of the following continuous delivery technologies (Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift, Azure, Monitoring, Logging, etc.)
• What skills/attributes are preferred (what will set a candidate apart)? Bachelor's degree or higher
• GitHub experience
• Monitoring & Observability experience (e.g. Splunk, DynaTrace, custom Grafana)
