This position prepares, analyzes, and interprets accounting records, financial reports, government reports, statistics, and accounting data processing services.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide accounting and budget support to CFO and ControllerAdminister the bull consignment and royalty payment programsUse bank documents, payroll reports, statements, receipts, and other supporting documents relating to amortization, depreciation, accruals, and a variety of other information to prepare and enter journal entries.Coordinate and reconcile month-end, quarterly, and annual reportingMaintain fixed asset ledgers and recordsAdminister the property and casualty liability insurance programsServe as main liaison to tax advisors for federal and multiple state filingsPrepare audit schedules and reports for external auditorsAssist Controller and department heads with compilation and preparation of annual budgetAssist with annual and various auditsComplete and file CAUV applications and real estate taxesFile and renew company trademarksProvide back-up support to Controller, Accounts Payable, and Human Resources POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Working knowledge of Corporate AccountingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills, able to work well under pressure and manage several tasks simultaneouslySelf-motivated and able to work without close supervisorAble to handle confidential and sensitive informationProvide the highest legal and ethical standardsPassion for the agricultural industry
