Our client in the Greater Harrisburg Area is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Temporary Staff Accountant. This position will provide crucial support to the accounting department. The Temporary Staff Accountant will assist in various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate should possess 3+ years of related experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Conduct general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment reconciliations, and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Staff Accountant Requirements:

• 3+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
• Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

This is a temporary opportunity with a pay rate of $29-$35/hr.
