A Statistician job is currently available through Belcan identifying molecular biological breeding traits and environmental variables for agriculture and biology application. To be considered for this role, you will have a Ph.D. or Master's degree with emphasis in statistical genetics, statistics, biostatistics, or biology and work experience with statistical modeling of genetics datasets. In this role you will provide analysis with linear mixed model for field experiment design data analysis of biotech traits field data with
linear mixed model, including statistical model development, model selection (AIC, BIC) and multiple comparisons.

Duties:
Program R or Python for statistical analysis and modeling.
Develop new models for datasets
Design and analysis of data using statistical modeling.

Desired qualifications:

• Master's or PhD required with emphasis in Statistics, quantitative genetics, statistical genetics,

statistics, biostatistics, biology

• Expertise in wide range of statistical techniques including, but not limited to experimental design,

general and generalized linear mixed models, non-linear mixed models, multivariate statistics, non-
parametric analysis, and Bayesian statistics.

• Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in computational skills and an intermediate level of experience

processing data, conducting statistical analysis, and visualizing results in R and Python.
