Structural Welder
Bilfinger Inc. is seeking a Plate Welder for a 6-7 week project.
Job Responsibilities
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
- Structural weld on carbon and stainless plate
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
- Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
Requirements:
- Proficient in blueprint reading
- Must be able to Stick and MIG weld
- Must pass required weld tests (varies per site)
- Prior rigging experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
- Ability to work at heights greater than six feet off of the ground
