Job description
Responsibilities:
- Support all phases of the subcontract lifecycle (pre-award and post-award)
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize contractual agreements and modifications to existing agreements. Primary focus will be on subcontracts and vendor agreements, with possible occasional support required for other types of contracts such as non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements
- Track status of agreements to completion, following up as needed to ensure finalization
- Manage contract files, ensuring files are complete and up to date
- Track and administer subcontracts and vendor agreements over time. Work closely with business owners, procurement, and finance departments to ensure that modifications, option years, and renewals are completed in timely fashion
- Interpret and provide advice to internal stakeholders on relevant statutory, regulatory, and contractual language
- Assist in ensuring company compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements
- Drafting and negotiating contract agreements and modifications
- Updating contract tracking databases to unsure accuracy of information
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure contract actions are completed timely and accurately
- Communicating with external partners regarding contract status
Requirements:
- Experience with Federal contracting and contract administration required
- Legal training (paralegal or JD) preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience reading, interpreting and redlining subcontracts and vendor agreements
- Under minimal supervision, manage and effectively prioritize multiple tasks with various deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor degree
