Your Impact at Porter

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for overseeing activities related to supply, inventory controls and supply chain planning and reporting to support Porter’s member and retail operations. The Supply Chain Analyst is instrumental in developing product management and providing data-driven recommendations and insights across categories and conditions to support Porter’s clinical objectives. The Supply Chain Analyst will report to the VP of Supply as a founding member and leader within the Porter Supply Chain.

What You’ll Need to Make Your Impact

• Collaborate on and develop and oversee processes and activities related to supply, material planning and inventory control of medical supplies, equipment, and hardware.

• Develop, implement, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems.

• Develop meaningful and actionable insights driven by expertly crafted analytics and reports to grow categories, optimize supply chains and suppliers, and maintain a lean, profitable product catalog.

• Coordinate with the Data Science team, Software Developers, and System Engineers to develop and maintain the supply data ecosystem to drive analytics and insights.

• Be the subject mater expert on Porter Master Segmentation and supplier nuances.

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 3+ years of experience in supply chains, drop shipping preferred

• 3+ years of experience with master segmentation, preferably with multiple suppliers

• 3+ years Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) and/or SQL

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

• Exceptional problem-solving skills

• Fast learner, intellectually curious, entrepreneurial, and coachable

Qualifications That Are Preferred

• Remote work experience

• A Bachelor's degree or higher

• Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite

• Healthcare experience

• Prior experience in the Home Medical Equipment (HME) space preferred

• Project Management experience preferred

• Business Intelligence software experience preferred (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)

Salary:

The typical pay range for this role is: 110-130K

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Location:

This is a fully remote position with occasional travel for team building and strategic planning. To work from home, you must have a strong internet connection, quiet space to take calls, and a distraction-free environment.
