We are in search of a hardworking individual to fill our Central Supply Clerk position.
Salary: $17.50 per hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-1:30pm (candidates must available to work up to 24 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all orders are confirmed with written purchase orders
- Ensure various departments are properly charged with supplies they have received for cost allocation purposes
- Fill requisitions from departments for routine supplies and equipment
- Ensure supplies and equipment are properly maintained
- Check invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, etc., with incoming merchandise
- Organize storage and catalog locations of supplies and equipment for efficient handling and to prevent damage
- Answer inquires from staff regarding products and supplies
- Research new product pricing and send information to the Director of Purchasing for approval
- Follow up on back orders
- Submit changes to the Home Office in a timely manner
- Assist in developing methods for determining the number of supplies and equipment
- Make written and oral reports and recommendations to the purchasing agent concerning procurement procedures, as directed
