Position Summary:

This leadership position is accountable for ensuring customer satisfaction and company profitability by leading and growing Landis+Gyr’s Premium Support and Professional Services business. The position will be highly involved in strategy, planning, and selling the value of these lines of business to existing customers, developing proposals and contracts, and directing and/or overseeing implementations/engagements. Additional responsibilities include day-to-day oversight and management of any dedicated PS personnel assigned to specific customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Lead Landis+Gyr interface for all participating customers in a Premium Service offering including management of services contracts.
  • Effectively interact with all levels of the customer organization to whom Landis+Gyr delivers its services.
  • Leads the resolution of process issues to drive efficiencies and ensure Landis+Gyr provides hassle-free service to our customers. Plans for future workload and resource allocation
  • Provides leadership, direction, guidance, and coaching for all members of the premium services team (8 direct and 8 indirect)
  • Ensure all internal stakeholders are apprised of business status, KPI, issues, and Risks
  • Responsible for all technical products and services delivered to customers under a premium services contract (Command Center Upgrades, Smart Grid Services)
  • Assist Sales in selling the value of Premium and Professional Services to customer executives.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be acceptable.
  • Minimum of six years of leadership experience is required in a customer-facing capacity.
  • 7+ years of increasingly responsible professional and technical experience in managing complex system implementations for utilities.
  • Consulting and project management experience is preferred.
  • Experience managing a diverse workforce.
  • Utility experience highly preferred.

Pay is in the range of $94,000 - $146,851 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
