TITLE: Surgical Tech
LOCATION: New Prague, MN (Onsite)
STATUS: Full-Time
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 7a-330p, On call every third week and some weekdays
PAY RANGE: $30.00-58.00 Per Hour DOQ
This is the pay range that BAHAMA Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt (Overtime paid at 1.5X regular rate of pay)
SUMMARY: Otorhinolaryngology, General/Gynecology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Cardiovascular
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attends the surgeon and surgical team peri-operatively to provide for optimum peri-operative experience. Knowledge of anatomy, instrumentation, patient safety and sterile technique.
- Capable of rapid accurate reactions; concern for quality patient care; communicates and works effectively with various levels of personnel; stands and walks major portion of work schedule; moderate to heavy lifting required; exposure to cuts, burns, infection, biohazardous chemicals and x-ray.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate of an accredited and/or hospital approved Surgical Technician program.
- Certification preferred.
- Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
