Job description

We are looking for a Surgical Technologist in the Zanesville area to work a 13 week contract!!

Contract Details:

  • 36 hours 7am to 7:30pm or 40 hours 7am to 3pm, 7am to 5:30pm
  • Every 5th weekend as a call weekend
  • COMPLETION BONUS OFFERED

Surgical Technologist Responsibilities:

  • Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries.
  • Sterilizing equipment and instruments.
  • Stocking adequate supplies for surgery.
  • Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
  • Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
  • Tracking surgical supplies.
  • Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
  • Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team.
  • Helping provide great patient care.

Surgical Technologist Requirements:

  • A graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
  • BLS Required
  • 2 years experience of general Surg Tech experience
  • Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required
