RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the team with all aspects of ESG consulting engagements, benchmarking studies, energy audits, energy modeling, and project implementation;
• Analyze and input utility bill information for energy analyses;
• Assist with technical requirements to support green building projects;
• Assist in data collection, field visits, and report writing;
• Complete ESG checklists;
• Perform benchmarking analyses;
• Execute project tasks on time and with technical proficiency; and,
• Maintain target utilization rate.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science or related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of ESG reporting standards;
• Familiarity with CALGreen and Title 24 energy code;
• LEED, GPR, or other Green Credential; and/or,
• Experience with energy modeling.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English;
• Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone;
• Must have a valid driver’s license;
• Ability to adjust work schedule to meet deadlines;
• Self-directed, organized, and able to work with minimum supervision;
• Demonstrated interest in the building science, energy efficiency and/or sustainability fields; and,
• Demonstrated basic knowledge in technical subject matter including building systems (HVAC, building envelope, and lighting systems).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen;
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs;
• Ability to work outdoors and in unconditioned rooms on occasion;
• Must have ability to travel approximately 20% of the time both in and out of state; and,
• Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.
