Job summary
As a member of the AWS Support team, you will be at the forefront of transformational technology assisting a global list of industry leading companies that are taking advantage of a growing set of services and features to run their mission-critical applications, while also working directly with the engineering teams within Amazon developing these new capabilities. You will be surrounded by people that are smart, passionate about cloud computing, and believe that world class support is critical to customer success.

We are looking for people who enjoy solving problems, working with customers, and that have technical backgrounds from a variety of different fields. These fields include Linux and Windows systems administration, database design and optimization, big data analysis, network administration, programming (java, REST API's), security (cryptography and threat-detection skills) and DevOps (deployment). Our business is centered around people and technology and you will have the ability to make a direct impact on customer success.

  • Cloud Architect: A technical advisor to our largest customers helping them navigate the operational challenges of cloud computing with 7+ years of experience in technical design and architecture.
  • Technical Account Manager: A technical consultant driving customer adoption of AWS with 3+ years of experience in IT and handling customer escalations.
  • Enterprise Support Manager: A manager of TAMs with 5+ years of management experience and a proven record of managing executive-level escalations
  • Cloud Support Engineer: A support engineer with 3+ years of experience in DMS, SCD, Deployment, Analytics, Big Data, Databases, Windows, Linux, Security or Networking. CSEs are passionate about solving customer's cases and driving customer interactions.
  • Operations Manager: A manager of CSEs with 7+ years of management and experience handling a wide-range of customer relationships.
  • Operations Engineer: An engineer who collaborates with our internal service team to meet our customers' individual needs during an infrastructure transformation. Ops engineers have 4+ years of experience in technical support and Linux.
  • Technical Program Manager: A TPM that utilizes AWS technologies to improve the experience of our frontline staff so they can better help put AWS customers with 6+ years of experience running technical projects/programs.
  • Technical Product Manager: a TPM that utilizes AWS technologies to improve the experience of our frontline staff so they can better help put AWS customers with 5+ years of experience as a TPM shaping business strategy for technical products or services.
  • Incident Management Engineer: A leader working with our most critical customers with 5+ years of experience in technical incident management and customer ownership.
  • Cloud Service Delivery Manager: A customer-facing delivery manager working with our clients to provide visibility and guidance through their technical transformation to AWS with 6+ years of client-facing technical consulting experience.
  • Business Intelligence Engineer: A BIE understanding and mining a large amount of data, building metrics, finding answers and creating dependable, repeatable solutions with 3+ years of BIE experience.
  • Business Development Manager: A consultant who supports the PSBD Managers that support Account Teams with opportunities, enablement programs and customer engagements with 10+ years of experience in business development, management consulting, sales/support strategy, or sales/support operations experience.
  • Technology Evangelist- A developer advocate to drive cloud architecture though leadership externally with our partners and customers well as internally with AWS technical resources and AWS Field Organizations with experience as an AWS solutions architect.
  • Technical Customer Service Specialist: A CSS providing support to a wide range of external customers helping them understand the benefits and capabilities of the AWS’s Cloud Computing Services with 2+ years of experience working in technical customer service.
  • Business Analyst: A key member of the AWS Kumo Analytics team by turning data into actionable insights and providing support for strategic initiatives with 7+ years of experience as a BA.

  • Proven experience in customer support
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence others while working in a cross functional environment, including senior members of the business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

The base pay range for this position is $131,300-$204,300 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
