Title: Swim Instructor

Status: Part-time

Job Description:

HealthTrack Sports Wellness is looking for swim instructors for private & group lessons. Group classes are run all year round and are held weekday afternoons, as well as Saturday mornings. Private lessons can be held anytime based off of club hours and instructor availability.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

- Basic knowledge of swimming techniques that include: all strokes, floating, treading water and water safety

- Ability to effectively instruct various levels of swimming techniques

- Ability to communicate and work well with all ages

- Reliability

- Flexibility

- Time management skills

- CPR/AED/First-Aid training recommended

Physical Demands:

- Must be physically able to demonstrate any strokes or skills to swimmers

- Must be able to lift up to a minimum of 30lbs. and carry pool equipment such as aquatics steps, floatation devices, flippers, kick boards, etc.

- Must be able to enter and exit pool

- Able to assist swimmers in and out of the water

- Able to tolerate long periods of time in chlorine treated water and hot/humid climate

*will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
