Under minimal supervision, the System Analyst develops and supports agency-wide software applications, reports, and automated processes within clinic programs and administrative units.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma plus 4 years of progressively responsible experience in database analysis and design in relational and non-relational databases, programming and/or scripting in recognized languages using various reporting tools is required or BA/BS in the field of computer science, information sciences, or related field is preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are also required. Prior experience in a behavioral health environment is a plus.

Designs and develops medium to complex application screens using both the application designer tool and scripting.
Creates new and customized data elements and file formats.
Provides end user support for all agency-wide applications.
Provides solutions and designs process changes resulting in improved and more efficient work flow and operations.
Provides system administration support and maintenance functions as necessary.
Acts as technical lead on small-scale MIS related projects.
Provides training on system software.
Continues to develop knowledge and understanding about the history, traditions, values, family systems, and artistic expression of groups served as well as uses appropriate methodological approaches, skills, and techniques that reflect an understanding of culture.
