SPA's Strategic Development Group (SDG) delivers program planning, system engineering, facilities and logistics management, and CONOPS development support to the Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). SDG has an immediate need for a cleared Systems Engineer/Program Manager Representative in Denver, Colorado. #CJ #IN123
Responsibilities:
The Program Manager Representative will perform duties on-site at Lockheed Martin in Denver, CO for a weapon system program transitioning from R&D to production. Responsibilities include working with one government PMR and one contractor PMR at the site to cover the daily meetings and monitoring requirements; providing coordination and integration between the leadership and staff at the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Program Office and their counterparts at Lockheed Martin and other National Team sites; facilitating program planning and execution, and support government oversight functions at the site; providing support to CPS functional branches and reporting directly to the Major Program Manager (MPM), Deputy Major Program Manager (DMPM), and Technical Director (TD) to purposely maintain an independent and integrated perspective for the MPM; and providing weekly written reports on production status and issues to the CPS functional teams.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical field.
  • DoD clearance (Minimum SECRET).
  • Must be able to work on-site at contractor’s facility in Denver, CO and have the ability to travel approximately one week per quarter in the continental United States (CONUS).
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in DoD acquisition systems engineering, program management, or portfolio management with an emphasis on technical oversight; a Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 10 years of professional experience may be substituted.
  • Experience with DoD acquisition contracts, schedules, budgeting, and working knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) process.

Desired Qualifications:
  • M.S. in a technical field.
  • Technical knowledge of Systems Engineering process, weapon and platform integration, baseline management, and production.
  • Competency in program risk, risk management, and risk mitigation covering areas of cost, schedule, performance, and technical areas.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hiring salary range of $150,000-$190,000.
