POSITION SUMMARYThe Talent Acquisition Specialist manages the recruiting process for exempt and non-exempt hires. This position plans and implements recruiting tactics including advertising, job fairs, school partnerships, etc. This position screens candidates, conducts behavioral interviews, and together with the hiring manger selects the best candidate. The Talent Acquisition Specialist negotiates job offers and oversees the pre-employment recruitment functions including reference and criminal background checks and new hire physicals.
This position will work with the team on continuous improvement and other special projects.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor degree in related field required.
EXPERIENCE: Recruitment or HR experience preferred. Excellent computer skills as well as communication and customer services skills required. The appropriate candidate is detail oriented, well organized and able to function independently.
