Salary: Expected base pay rate for this role will range between $50,000 - $60,000 USD per year at the commencement of employment.

However, if hired, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis (pay rates may vary) and is only one part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses and other IMAX sponsored benefit programs.

The Global Talent Acquisition team at IMAX is in search of a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. You will be passionate about talent and will provide support in all areas of a recruiting lifecycle – from administration, recruitment, onboarding, project assistance, ad-hoc tasks, and coordination. As a critical member of the TA team, you will ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment processes through effective business partnership, delivering a positive candidate experience, and overall providing best-in-class support to all the key stakeholders. You will demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities, be resourceful, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and manage end-to-end talent operations; program and project coordination
  • Manage scheduling and general coordination for interviews (in-person or virtual) with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers across various business groups
  • Create offer letters and initiate background checks for new hires; escalate to stakeholders as needed
  • Maintain and update the Talent Acquisition processes and documentation on an ongoing basis
  • Collaborate and communicate with Recruiters, Hiring Managers and across HR and various others teams throughout the recruitment lifecycle to ensure a smooth execution of the end-to-end hiring processes
  • Troubleshoot and execute on issues and requests with the highest level of professionalism and judgement on a timely basis
  • Initiate new hire pre-onboarding and own the New Hire Orientation process in the US and provide administrative support of global orientations
  • Act as an Agency partner and intermediary between hiring managers and agency contacts on behalf of the Talent Acquisition team. Prospect new vendors and maintain existing relationships and files for future/active partnership as required.
  • Coordinate with existing vendors for TA department needs (supplies, events, catering, etc.)
  • Supporting analytics; including candidate tracking and ad-hoc reporting requests related to Talent Acquisition
  • Ensure all daily tasks are completed in a timely manner with clear and proactive communication to the team and business
  • Prepare and manage confidential files and privileged information with the utmost professionalism and sensitivity
  • Prepare materials, research, and reports for various project needs
  • Adhoc participation in some recruiting activities as needed (review candidate applications, sourcing, job fairs, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 1 year of HR/TA Administrative Experience
  • Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with web-based applications, e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed and ATS is strongly preferred
  • Excellent organization and the ability to manage a high volume of work
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively and quickly learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
  • Project coordination skills and multi-tasking
  • Effective problem solving/trouble-shooting skills
