Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute full life cycle of recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing and assessment.
- Build and execute production employee recruiting strategy i.e. job boards, advertising efforts, career fairs, assessment.
- Build and maintain a consistent talent pipeline.
- Support hiring managers to understand business objectives, role requirements and desired candidate profiles.
- Writes and posts job postings to company website and internet job boards.
- Performs initial exempt candidate screening via telephone and makes recommendations for interviews.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and candidates to ensure timely execution of the recruitment process.
- Conducts reference and background checks.
- Prepares and distributes monthly talent update.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
- Lead the MTI’s Co-op and Internship program.
- Develop and cultivate relationships with various colleges and universities.
- Assist with the company’s succession planning program.
- Work to develop and track various employee learning and development activities across the organization.
- Assist with a variety of Learning & Development initiatives across the organization.
- Develop, maintain and report various recruitment KPI’s to measure the performance of organizations recruitment activities.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
- Full life cycle recruiting experience with exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Comprehensive knowledge of recruiting practices, processes and procedures including relevant Federal and State laws pertaining to recruitment and employment.
- Ability to recruit for all levels of the organization from entry level to corporate staff including the aptitude for creation of progressive and innovative strategies to attract talent to the organization .
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Can be trusted to handle extremely confidential and sensitive information.
- Must have a team player attitude.
- Ability to work in a demanding and dynamic environment with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Must be resourceful in unfamiliar tasks.
- Excellent time-management and multitasking skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resource related
- Prefer experience in office setting, manufacturing background a plus
- 1 to 3 years of high volume manufacturing recruiting preferred.
