What you’ll be doing
The team at GBS supports hiring across the Americas region, bringing colleagues into the business at all levels and for a variety of Hitachi group companies across industries, with a core focus on technology. To help guide that work, there is an opportunity for a Lead Recruiter to join us.
The Recruiter is responsible for regional talent acquisition operations, including requisition management, sourcing, selection, and hire of full-time candidates and contingent staff.
This opportunity will have team mentorship and full recruitment life cycle responsibilities.
The role will be remote based, so we welcome applications from candidates from across the United States. There will be occasional travel to Hitachi offices, primarily in NYC and Santa Clara, CA to meet with colleagues.
What you bring to the team
We’re looking for a team player, who is motivated by delivering great work and the Hitachi vision. Some of the skills and experience we look for includes:
Significant experience recruiting for corporate and technology positions, ideally gained in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of how to source niche talent using social media, job boards and our employees’ networks
Strong negotiation and closing skills, ability to deal with complex hiring processes and follow them through to closure
First class customer and candidate management ability
A supportive and inspiring management style focused on coaching teams to deliver high levels of service
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills including strong influencing ability
An understanding of Talent Acquisition processes, systems, and technology

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act, the expected salary for this position is $105,000 - $115,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi America’s variable pay program, as well as our Health and Welfare and Retirement programs, subject to the programs’ conditions and restrictions.
