What you will do

Leveraging your well-adapted focus on customers, attention to their needs, and creating amazing candidate experiences, you will be responsible the full lifecycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing hiring for our Norman, OK facility for Johnson Controls. To deliver on this objective, you will prioritize the urgency and importance of your requisition load and build pipelines of people for critical roles. You will also work onsite closely with your manager, hiring managers, and local leadership to develop and implement tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow that meets the overall recruiting goals.

What we look for

Required:

• University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of recruitment/talent acquisition experience
• Exceptional interpersonal skills – verbal/written
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, or related field
• 3+ years of experience recruiting for hourly, non-exempt Operations positions
• Validated competence in developing digital candidate sourcing strategies
• Technology proficiency – previous experience with Workday Recruit (ATS), Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and other direct sourcing tools
• Foundational understanding of the Boolean search language, and how search principles apply to both internet and database searches
