Our ideal Talent Acquisition Specialist will have some seasoned exposure to attracting, vetting, and building relationships with technically-minded talent. We're looking for an enterprising, resourceful team-player who wants to work alongside our Talent Director and TA Coordinator to scale our Talent operations in preparation for the next frontier. Our TA Specialist bleeds empathy, nails deliverables, and prioritizes experience. In other words—a curator of exceptional teammates for the Starship Talent Enterprise. Does this sound like you?


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) will own various facets of the recruiting process, working alongside our Talent Director (TD) to attract and convert interested prospects into new hires. The TAS will work closely with our TA Coordinator whilst cultivating their own mix of assigned role requisitions and conducting full- cycle recruitment spanning our Practice areas. Role openings may range from seasonal internships, establishing independent contractor relationships, and hiring full-time and part-time positions. The TAS will be a team player and will be additionally responsible for a mix of recruitment process management, job description cultivation, sourcing, and coordination efforts to optimize the efficiency of our "small but mighty" Talent Team. This position will report directly to the Talent Director and will work closely with Entara's Hiring Managers to cultivate mutual success for Entara and the candidates who enter our pipelines.


Cultivate Relationships

Conduct Full-Cycle Recruitment for Assigned Requisitions:

  • Perform Ideation meeting(s) with TD to launch job description development, identify role competencies, capture required vetting steps, and confirm available resources.
  • Project manage your requisitions: provide insight and recommendations to Hiring Managers and TD on candidate(s), talent pool, and vetting Set timelines and complete/assign action items resulting in on-target, time to hire and time to fill for your requisitions.
  • Cultivate Talent Pipelines: Review Conduct sourcing. Leverage prospects.
  • Select and interview candidates who meet both Entara values and required
  • Gather and grade applicable assessments against Entara baseline, escalating to TD as
  • Assume personal ownership of all next steps, follow-ups, and update calls in relation to your candidates. Work with TAC to schedule all necessary interviews.
  • Utilize developed messaging and rejection or advancement guidelines to ensure compliance measures are followed consistently for each candidate.
  • Coordinate and compose offers for review and extension with TD and the Director of
  • Transition closed candidate relationships to TD, HR, and Hiring Manger for new hire

Manage the Candidate Experience:

  • Proactively communicate in a way that enhances the candidate's experience; ensure each candidate walks away feeling valued and informed.
  • Identify process gaps or inefficiencies that may require resolution or refinement, keeping the candidate experience top of mind.

Establish Foundations for Future Hiring:

  • Take the lead on requisition closure activities: offboard candidate(s), create and file
  • Identify opportunities to steam-line future hiring efforts through the cultivation of strong prospective candidate pools.
  • Complete assigned projects to take Entara's TA strategies to the next level through diverse hiring alignment, process refinement, and scorecard maturation.

Facilitate Attraction Efforts

  • Work with TAC to meet weekly targets and execute various outreach methods for passive candidate engagement (in-mails, emails, and calls).
  • Compose and fine-tune outreach sequences to mature passive talent
  • Conduct day-to-day management of prospect pools and related engagement
  • Leverage preferred tools: LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and Greenhouse

Cascade Messaging:

  • Provide guidance for online posting efforts across Entara's careers page and job board platforms. Ensure posts maintain consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Research and propose additional posting platforms, LinkedIn groups, that Entara should be leveraging as our needs expand.
  • Cascade openings internally to garner referral generation and internal awareness of open

Attend Events:

  • Provide preparatory & day-of assistance for candidate job fairs attended by the TA Attend as a company representative. *Note: Recent fair attendance has been primarily remote, though we may expand back into onsite fairs in Fall 2023 (May require travel).*
  • Research additional collegiate programs that may contribute to upcoming or growing talent

Enhance Company Brand:

  • Maintain a pulse on the viability of current employer branding
  • Research brand engagement tactics and propose adjustments or additions to virtual brand presence to support strategic hiring initiatives and talent engagement.

Contribute to Team Excellence

  • Own Your Metrics: Maintain an accurate awareness of your activity metrics, weekly objectives, and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Pull required data, reports, and metrics for review on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly
    • Highlight variances and assist in the creative "solve" for process gaps or hard-to-fill
  • Leverage Your Tools: Understand the utilization and necessity of each of our TA Maintain continual upkeep and data integrity – ensuring accurate reporting of TA activity and trends.
    • Maintain detailed, complete records in Greenhouse; ensure accurate data is uploaded and available for candidates and prospects (assessments, applications, feedback, notes, etc.).
    • Execute assigned tasks related to new position setup in Greenhouse, including scorecard development, application questions, interview stages, etc.
    • Organize prospect projects across sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem); ensure follow- up activities are tracked and logged in respective tools.

WHO YOU ARE: REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • You're a knowledge seeker. Regardless of method, you have obtained and exposed yourself to knowledge centers that qualify you to take on a detailed, process-heavy workload.
